Tips how to do On Page SEO for a website

There are so many blogs and websites are not getting rank in Search engines result pages due to lack of SEO ,though they have ability to rank with rich content and attractive looking. If you are writing articles, but not getting visitors so what is the benefit from that. Some time we are getting upset why not my pages are showing on Goggles search result pages.
It is a common question but a simple answer is you are not doing SEO for your web site properly.  “write for human and Optimize for Robot” if you want to see your page on Google you must write Search engine  robots knowable  content and use some codes.When Search engines send robots to your website they only can read some codes and content. Robot gets emotional when it found it needs.

I will give you some tips and tricks how to do SEO for a new website.
I am sure it will not only help new blogger or content writer, but those  people who already known or learned SEO but can’t understand from where and how to do SEO for a new website.

On Page Optimization: On page Optimization is the heart of the SEO technique. It is directly related to the page content. There are so many factors on On-Page Optimization. The terms of On page Optimizations are :

Title Optimization: Title is the most important for SEO. You have to choose a title where your main keyword is. So that Searchers can easily find your page by searching that keyword. So you have to know how to keyword research and which keywords have more search volume and low competition. To be at the top something must be telling Google that they are extremely relevant to the keyword and I suggest your keyword should a long tail keyword. You have to know how to keyword research for your website. Your title must not contain more than 65-70 characters and 512 pixel widths. Also, be cautious about using duplicate title and keyword stuffing.

Meta tag Optimization: You have to create Meta Tag for your website. There two types of Meta tag Meta Keyword and Meta description tags. In Meta keyword tag you put some important keywords of your content .The keyword Tag should contain no more than 4-5 keywords. Meta descriptions give an overview about your article .Meta description are not so important to robot but it helps searchers to know about your web site and services. WordPress and Joomla have different plugin to set Meta descriptions. I am describing only blogger platform. No character limit for writing Meta description, but it is wise to use 150 characters.

Content Optimization:  ‘The simple you write the better you gets’ search engines especially Google always loves simplicity. Use synonym as as much you can it makes your post titles unique from others. This method also will help you to avoid keyword stuffing. Write as much as you can. Short posts are usually seen as spam by search engines. Every post targets should around 600 words. Search engine gives priority on rich content. Your target should quality content because you are writing for human not for computers. Don’t use keywords very often.In On Page SEO it is very important to keep keywords limited. I suggest to use no more than 2%- 3%  keywords in your articles.
Break your contents into short paragraph. Check your grammar, spelling and correct punctuation.

Optimize Keywords in heading tags’’ means heading .It is a very important on On page SEO. Heading tag range h1 to h6. Robot gives important h1 tag than h2 and h2 tag than h3.By using number of header tag specially h1 and h2 you can attract robots and get response from them.h1 is most commonly used for blog title and h2 for blog description, post heading and others. It is suggested not to use h3 and h4 tags because these are less important to improve page performances.

Image ALT Optimization: use alt tag for picture/ audio/video or any kind of media properties that you want to include your content. Better tips to make your image SEO friendly use main keyword for your image. Keep your image tags limited to two to three words. it provides keyword relevant search and help rank your image on SERP.

Put keywords at the beginning
Write a relevant description related to the page.
Always use alt attribute to index.
Ignore using background and construction
To ensure your page alt tag you can use following alt tag checker
Do not use just a single word to name your image file.
Do not use words together use .use dashes or high pens. Don’t use plus underscore and others signs.
Google understands dashes as separator.
Always give importance on image size. Use JPEG format. It is determining factor how fast your pages is loaded.

Optimize your custom permalink: Custom permalink enables you to customize your search preferences. It lets you create your own url whenever you write a new post. You should make shorter and SEO friendly URL for your post to optimize. Your new post title is your default permalink automatically. Change it with custom URL by putting important keyword. Don’t use special characters like Semicolon, clone or underscore. Only you can use underscore.
